Laser Scanning

Laser Scanning

We now use a ‘state of the art’ Trimble SX10 scanning total station to collect high accuracy scan data and associated imagery to produce 3D point clouds.

Point clouds can be cleaned up by removing unwanted or erroneous data as required.

Scanned data is normally produced to OSGB36 (15) National Grid co-ordinates, Other grid references can be used as required.

Point clouds can be exported into various formats to be compatible with 3D architectural modelling software, such as Autodesk Revit.

Examples of Use

Buildings and/or facades, structures, building internals, roads, corridors, overhead lines, stockpile volumes etc.
